Dennis Rodman’s former home hits the market in Orange County

As Dennis Rodman continues to test the waters of geopolitics, a former home of the NBA Hall of Fame player is testing the housing market in Orange County.

Set on an acre in Saddle Hill Ranch, an outdoor-minded community in the city of Orange, the home was deeded by Rodman’s former agent, Dwight Manley, to the basketball forward in the late 1990s. Rodman would own the property for less than a year before selling it for $1.1 million, public records show.

Built in 1976, the ranch-style house has a double-door entry that gives way to a step-down living room under skylights and vaulted ceilings. Also within the 5,000-square-foot interior is a formal dining room, wood-accented billiards room and gourmet kitchen with a granite island.

The master suite, which offers a steam shower and sauna, is among the five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms.

French doors open to the fenced grounds complete with a pool, storage barn and horse corral. The detached garage parks three.

Rodman, 56, won five NBA championships during his career, including two with the Detroit Pistons and three with the Chicago Bulls. More recently, he has drawn attention for his visits to North Korea, where he befriended leader Kim Jong Un.
