James Spader sells Windsor Square home for $4M.

Television and film actor James Spader, who stars in NBC’s espionage thriller “The Blacklist,” has covertly sold his home in Windsor Square for $4 million, property records show.

Built in 1922, the Mediterranean Revival-style estate is set back from the street. The symmetrical, wide front of the house is accented by a red-tile roof, sets of long picture windows and an arched front door flanked by tall palms.

Renovated and restored, the roughly 3,700 square feet of interiors include a restaurant-grade kitchen with soapstone countertops, a mahogany-paneled library, a media room, four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. A separate guest studio includes an en suite bedroom.

Outdoors, a covered patio opens onto grounds filled with lawns, palms and tropical gardens, with an elevated, glass-tiled swimming pool in a corner.

A two-car garage and porte-cochère sit off the side of the home.

Spader, 56, has television credits that include “The Practice,” “Boston Legal” and “The Office.” Among his filmwork is “Mannequin” (1987), “Sex, Lies, and Videotape” (1989) and “Stargate” (1994). Last year, he voiced the character Ultron in the blockbuster “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”

He bought the house in 2004 for about $2.24 million, records show.
