LA Phil Conductor, Gustavo Dudamel, lists his Los Feliz home for $3.3M.

As the celebrated music director of the LA Philharmonic, Gustavo Dudamel is known for his flamboyant conducting style and charismatic personality. However, if the Los Feliz home that the maestro is now selling is any indication, his home life may be a bit more subdued. Sure, this classy Mediterranean-style residence looks like a great place to hang out and listen to some Mahler, but it can’t quite match the exuberant energy that its owner brings to performances.

Originally constructed in 1923, the home was last sold in January 2015—shortly before Dudamel and his wife, Eloisa Maturen, filed for divorce. Per the listing, the home was recently renovated extensively by SIMO Design. Variety reports that upgrades included an expansion of the kitchen and master bedroom, along with the addition of a swimming pool.

The very elegant home includes a large entryway with a grand staircase and glass-paned doors leading to the living room and dining area. Hardwood floors run throughout, and the ornate doorways and moldings are looking very well preserved. The master bathroom includes twin sinks, a clawfoot tub, and a luxurious double shower—one of the few features of the home likely to raise eyebrows on the tour. The 3,600 square-foot, three-bedroom home is asking $3.3 million.
